So who’s it going to be: Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Rutgers? I think someone should force Notre Dame into joining the Big 10 so I don’t have to see every single Notre Dame game on NBC. That and the fact that Norte Dame has been overrated for years and they would likely be finish in the middle of the pack in the Big 10. Probably wouldn’t be a good thing for the Gophers in the short term but then again who knows. It would however make for heck of a Gopher road trip.

The Minnesota House proposed a plan that would allow alcohol sales in premium seats as long as a third of the general admission customers also get served. So far no changes have been made by the University and alcohol will still be banned in all areas.

Webber secured the starting QB position this spring, which in my mind was the obvious choice. You can’t simply bench a 4 year starting QB unless something has gone terribly wrong. Webber did have a rough season last year and I even found myself complaining about Webber most games. In saying that, they’ve got to give him better protection. If the O-Line can stay tough, Webber will have a much better chance at success this season.
